Naruto Doujin: Alternative The Last Ch 03 p 09

And the conversation the Girls have reminds me of a Fanfic of Fanfiction.net, which is called "Naruto and Sakura: The Alternate End", by the way, the Author of said fic has mentioned you in a note, so thats what lead me here.

in this Doujin and the fanfic Sakura is thinking intensely about if her feelings for Sasuke are still the same (although in the fic, she has a longer realization process, considering that at this point here nothing is clear yet with Sakura).

And i cant help but think that Kishimoto maybe create an open end (ignoring the epilogue and the last...but, since its the epilogue was released together with the ch.699 and the last being now canon) on purpose. The Fightings are all over and that would be the time for some romance stuff, but he sucks with these things as he stated. So he left this Work to the animators....and, the last was the result.

But still, Naruto is a Shonen manga and those do follow all sorts of Cliches and Deus Ex machinas. Like, if Kids have a crush on each other, then you can bet that they still love each other as adults and probably get married. One example would be Dragonball with Son Goku and Chichi, although it was chichi that pushed the Boy in this direction. Honestly, he hasnt lost anything of his childish atitude, so im wondering, how he was able to give birth to kids.

But with the end Chapter 699, there is room for some characterdevelopment and Sakura thinking about her feelings for Sasuke wouldnt just improve her development it would also fit for the Manga story aswell. Usually, Shonen shouldnt be compared with realism. Sakuras doubts and thinking about her feelings would indeed be realistic (and her considering, that Sasuke tried to kill her more than once and always rejecting her). And even if Sasuke would recognize who he is, when his Redemption trip is over, there is no guarantee that he can/would reciprocrate her feelings. Kishimoto cant pull up the reason that Sasuke and Sakura are made for each other "by destiny" like on Naruto and Hinata
